As you may have seen back in 2017, Mama et Moi won a Women In Business Award which was set up by the late Jacqueline Gold.
We are so honoured to have been chosen for Jacqueline Golds Female Entrepreneur, Women in Business Award and so very sad to hear of her losing battle with Cancer. We had the pleasure to meet Jacqueline who continues to inspire us, as a female entrepreneur myself , what Jacqueline achieved, her investment and belief in female entrepreneur’s will always be valued and remembered.
Jacqueline launched her #wow campaign in 2011 to support women in business, which she is incredibly passionate about. For us, it is a huge achievement to be recognised by Jacqueline, as her success is truly an inspiration. Jacqueline Gold CBE, is chief executive of Ann Summers and Knickerbox and is renowned for managing a company run by women, for women.
To become a winner, Jacqueline looked for businesses that are interesting, that have strong brand values and who she thinks have potential to grow and succeed in their industry. She looks for quality products, well designed websites and entrepreneurs who appear to have a good business sense and who have thought about what the consumer wants and how to deliver it.
Here is what Jacqueline has to say about her #wow awards – “For me #WOW is all about inspiring and celebrating women in business. There are so many great businesses launching every day and whilst it’s an extremely exciting time, it can also be a very nerve wracking and lonely time. I hope that #WOW offers a place for women to network and celebrate each others successes, I know that every week I am so proud of all the incredible women that enter and am thrilled to see so many women achieving such great things.”
