Mama et Moi Meets Dina | Kensington Mums

Hi Everyone!

It's that time of the month again where we can take a seat and read our blog series Mama et Moi Meets..  This month Mama et Moi meets Dina, from Kensington Mums. Kensington Mums aim is to sharing knowledge and experiences and helping my yummy Kensington Mums learn from one another.  Get comfy and take a peek..

1) Tell us a little about yourself & how Kensington Mums came about?

Kensington Mums started 6 years ago, out of passion to connect with like minded Mums. When I become a mother, I felt very lonely and isolated. There was a lot of activities to offer babies and toddlers but not much out there to support and help mothers in their motherhood journey. Since then I developed a passion in me to help mums outside my group of friends.

2) How do you juggle work/being a mama and keeping your blog up together?

It is definitely a juggle sometimes on handed despite trying to be organized and prioritizing family and my working hours. We publish content with niche topics on the website and app, competitions, reviews and holiday scoops to keep our readers in the loop.

3) Who are you top blogger influencers and why?

We love to have the support from other bloggers. BritMums were great in the early years. We are inspired by the content of the HuffPost UK parents too   , they always share amazing content with various topics.

4) What have been your blog high's and low's ?

High: the community support we offer other Mums and connecting like minded Mums together.

Low: the numerous emails we receive on a daily basis!

5) Three top tips you wish you knew when you started to blog?

Priorities, priorities, priorities

6) What was your weirdest pregnancy craving?

I never used to eat spicy food, but since becoming pregnant with my first this is something I craved as well as lemon juice. Go figure!

7) What is the one thing you wish you knew before you had your baby?

Sleep whenever you can as that’s something you no longer will have the luxury of when you become a Mamma.

8) If you could only have one item, what is the one thing as a Mama you couldn't live without?

My phone would definitely be something I am unable to live without. With the early days of motherhood, it helped me capture my little ones first smile, first steps and then the connection I made online via Facebook at the time helped me, kept me sane, as I could relate with a lot of the posts I would see on my feed.

9) Last time you had a full night's sleep?

My kids are older now, but sometimes you see me climbing into my bed on a Friday night before they are even ready for bed. That’s the life on an exhausted Mum.

10) Most embarrassing Motherhood moment?

I have a few which would be too long to mention here, but I would say my latest embarrassing motherhood moment was when I arrived to the airport for a family holiday without my kids passport!

11) If you had 48 hours without the munchkins what would you do?

I would extend it by another 48 hours J I would go on a spa retreat for some relaxation and digital detox with my girlfriends.

12) What is one thing people would be surprised to know about you?

I become Mumzilla after I count to 3.

13) What destination is on your bucket list and why?

I love to travel especially as a family. The children get to learn new experiences in a new country. Thailand has been on my bucket list for a while, as I would love!

Next week Dina has shared a Christmas post for us, so don't forget to come back and see what they have in store this Christmas. We ghope you loved getting to know Dina as much as we have!
